    ucktail, a tapered synthetic fiber designed to imitate typical premium length natural bucktail. 6" in length. Great for fresh or saltwater tying.
    Natural taper: faux bucktail fibers have the same basic diameter, gentle crinkle, and natural taper as bucktail. In appearance, it looks almost identical and achieves the same distinctive bucktail fly action in the water. However, the fibers are not hollow and will not flare in the same way as regular bucktail while tying. Unlike natural bucktail every fiber is of premium length, eliminating the need to sort and search for ideal strands. Simply peel off your desired amount of fibers, trim to length and tie them in. Faux bucktails vibrant colors will not bleed onto your hands while tying or fade from constant fishing. Tough& durable: design to hold up to the rigors of big game fishing, Faux bucktail fiber responds with superglue better than natural fibers, which secures eyes and other materials firmly in place and increases the lifespan your flies.
