    Description

    Offered are these two antique documents from cotton companies in Rome, Georgia. The first, printed in red, from Hamilton & Co., is dated 2/5/1894, for the sale of two bales of cotton for J. D. Turner. The second, printed in black, from the Angle Cotton Co., is dated 12/31/1914, for the sale of one bale of cotton. The name is hard to read but it looks like "Donohoo".
    The Hamilton document is approx. 8 3/8" x 5 1/2" and the Angle Cotton Co. one is 8 1/2" x 5 3/4". Both are in very good condition, with no tears, but there are some creases, a few pinholes and both have yellowed. The Hamilton & Co. document has some figures written on the back in ink, as well.
